November 2018

Well, sorry it’s been a while since I have added any news! Where have the months gone?! Just not enough hours in the day!

It’s been a busy few months with exhibitions and art fairs all over the UK. I had my first exhibition with Dad in the Bute Gallery in September and I am pleased to say it was a huge success! Fabulous gallery on the Isle of Bute that will continue to exhibit new work and prints throughout the year.
I have been represented by Linton 59 in Cambridge at the Battersea and Cambridge Art Fair and he will also be representing me at the Edinburgh Art Fair in November.
The Lime Tree Gallery in Long Melford have their Winter Exhibition opening this month where I will be exhibiting alongside other artists in their mixed exhibition.
New pieces will be going to the Fotheringham Gallery the Wren Gallery Darryl Nantais Gallery andThe Art Agency soon, will keep you updated.

It’s been a busy few months of commissions. I have worked on a few pieces for a beautiful interior design  project where the client wanted pieces that would compliment her rooms perfectly. I loved doing these pieces and really enjoyed seeing them up in the completed rooms. Photos of these will come soon.
Another commission was from a lovely family that wanted a painting of a very special view that will be passed down the family with its story forevermore. Photos of that piece will be shared once the family have received it.
At the moment I have a large piece for another stunning interior. This one really is a biggy so I am thoroughly enjoying the big brushes and mountains of oil paint!
A few more to get started, more on these later.
If you wish to commission a piece to suit an interior, size, budget etc please get in touch to discuss.

I will be having another open studio weekend at the end of the month so anyone wishing an invite along please drop me an email. It will be a weekend where I welcome people in to my studio space to see where I work. There will be original art, limited edition prints, cards, framed cards and calendars for sale over the weekend. There will also be fizz, nibbles and home baking.

2019 Calendar is now available worldwide. My first ever calendar of landscapes and still life paintings. Many of the paintings were from our Scottish motorhome holiday in the summer. Already planning our trip for 2019!
Everything on the website is now available for worldwide shipping.

Wee bit of exciting news. A large company in Montreal have selected my work to be used for printing on to their fabric. The fabric will be used to make a selection of garments that will be available all over the world in 2019. I will reveal more when I have permission to do so. So far they have taken it to many International Fashion Fairs including New York, Montreal, Las Vegas, Copenhagen, Paris, Berlin, Chicago and Toronto. Really pleased that my painting from my little studio in our little village have had this opportunity to be seen so widely.

Anyway, that is all for now and promise to update sooner! Emma x
