A vibrant Scottish landscape filled with wildflowers, colour and shimmering touches of gold leaf. Soft cream and golden flower heads rise through layers of turquoise, teal and deep blue, leading towards a distant white cottage beneath a warm golden sky.

The tall composition creates a wonderful sense of depth, drawing the eye through the abundant foreground flowers and across the open countryside beyond. Expressive marks, delicate patterns and layers of rich colour give the painting movement and texture, while the gold leaf catches the changing light.

An uplifting original filled with colour, warmth and a sense of escape into the Scottish countryside.
