Delicate thistles, wildflowers and drifting dandelion clocks fill the foreground of this peaceful Highland landscape, where white crofts rest quietly beneath a glowing gold leaf sky. Inspired by the timeless beauty of rural Scotland, the painting evokes the simple childhood tradition of making a wish as dandelion seeds are carried on the breeze. Soft lilac, heather and turquoise tones create a sense of calm and optimism, while the warm evening light adds a touch of magic. A Scottish Wish is a celebration of hope, home and the quiet beauty found in Scotland’s wild places.
