A colourful little Scottish landscape filled with wildflowers and the warmth of the changing seasons. A solitary cottage sits beyond a sweeping foreground of flowers, painted in rich pinks, purples, russets and soft neutral tones.

Tall flower heads rise through layers of expressive colour and texture, while birds flying high above the cottage bring a wonderful sense of freedom and movement to the scene. Loose brushwork and energetic marks capture the atmosphere of a wild Scottish landscape in this small but richly detailed original.

A joyful painting full of colour, texture and uplifting autumnal character.
